“Jesus Comforting Pearl” by the Author

Every evening, Pearl and I say our evening prayers. We always try to begin by thanking The Great Gardener for all He has done for us already. Only then do we ask for anything new.

Our most important request is always comfort for Pearl. Along with this goes being comfortable in the heat of summer and the chill of winter. Pearl misses Blanche and the other chickens, but she can always rely on Jesus to help her have a good night of sleep.

“So look, I am with you always, throughout this time period. That is how dependable I am.” (Matt. 28:20)
