Our family, friends, and fans have reached out to help us with their comments and encouragements. This reminds Pearl of the hands that have always been available to help her since she hatched.
Pearl is very thankful for The Hands of Rescue. They belong to Jesus who has been with her since she first hatched. He has always rescued her from whatever has been heavy on her and weighed her down. He knows how to bring out the best things in her because he created her with all of those best things to be brought out.
The same is true of you. Stop and think about it. If it’s true of a little white chicken, it has to be true of you, a person created in the image of God.
Jesus knows how to bring out the best things in you because he created you with all of those best things to be brought out.
The world may tell you that you have to have it all together or you don’t count. The world may tell you that everybody’s life is perfect except yours. But those aren’t words that Pearl wants to let into her thinking or feeling. Together, Pearl and I need to work with The Hands of Rescue to help the thinking and feeling of people in the world who need that help.
“What if the world has a false, fake, and phony message for everything about Jesus?” asked Pearl. “Maybe that’s what we should address in our writing and drawing.”
“You are a very wise chicken,” I told her. “Let’s start sharing Rescue messages with people to help lift them out from under the bales of straw that might be loading them down! What could be better?”
